Underwear, artistic nudes, and boudoir photography in London
Boudoir photography is hugely different to a standard photo shoot. It’s essential to choose a photographer that encourages you to be creative and gives you the confidence to experiment with your poses and props.
Caroline Towning Studio specialises in boudoir, underwear, and nude photography, and can help you create sensual photography that turns heads.
Whether you want artistic burlesque photos for your marketing campaign, or a set of boudoir photos as a scintillating gift for a loved one, Caroline Towning Studio can help.
Stunning boudoir photography in the heart of London
If you’re looking for the perfect place for your boudoir photography session, Caroline Towning Studio is the ideal location for an intimate photoshoot.
Located in the trendy and bohemian Hoxton, the boutique studio is small and private, providing plenty of opportunity for experimentation and creativity.
There are lots of props that you can use in your photo session, including a pink velvet bed, and of course, you’re more than welcome to bring your own too. The studio also contains different colour backgrounds and materials to help you build the perfect scene, whether you want light and sensual, or dark and erotic.
Alternatively, we can go on location within London and take photos at a commercial or residential building of your choice. Safety and discretion are entirely assured, and we will do everything we can to put you at ease.
About your photographer
When planning a boudoir shoot, choosing a photographer who understands sensual photography and can gently guide you into the right positions is important.
Caroline is passionate about the fetish and alternative scene, with over 20 years of experience in the creative industry. This means you’ll be working with someone who not only makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, but will help you get the most out of your boudoir photography session.
Before your session begins, Caroline will chat with you to understand what you want to achieve from your boudoir photos and offer suggestions to ensure you get the perfect set of images. For example, if there is a particular part of your body you want to focus on, or if you want to do wide or close-up shots.
Whether you are thinking stylish and elegant or fetish and sultry, you’ll get the results you want.

Frequently asked questions about boudoir photography with Caroline Towning Studio
Where are you located?
Caroline Towning Studios is based in Hoxton, in East London. We can also come out to any part of London to carry out your boudoir photoshoot.
Are you happy to take fetish photos?
Yes, we’re interested in the fetish and alternative scene, so fetish and nude photography are not an issue!
Are hair and makeup included?
Unfortunately, it’s not. We recommend having your hair and makeup ready before you get to the studio to make the most of your session. However, we have room if you need to touch up before we start shooting.
Do I need to bring my own props?
We have plenty of props at our studio that you’re free to use in your photos, including a bed. When you arrange your photo session, we’ll let you know what we have so you can plan accordingly.
You can also bring your own props but let us know if you want to bring anything large so we can check if there’s space!
Can I request a female photographer?
Our on-site photographer is female, so you can always be confident that a woman will be on-site with you.
Do you do retouching?
If you want to remove blemishes and minor imperfections like acne, stretch marks and cellulite, we offer a retouching service, which is charged per photo.
How long will a boudoir photography session take?
We offer two to three-hour shoots, as well as half-day and full-day shoots. In our experience, a two or three-hour shoot is enough for most people, but if you need a lot of underwear and scenery changes, an extended shoot may be more appropriate.
If you’re unsure, let us know what you’d like when you book, and we can recommend how much time is right for you.
